Kelab Rekreasi Tentera Udara better known as the KRTU at the Subang Air Base was established by the inspiration of the late former Air Force Commander Lt Gen ® Tan Sri Mohamad Bin Ngah Said , with an area of land of 123 acres in 1987.

His Majesty the King is the patron of the Club leisure Air Force .

KRTU was operational at 2nd Jan 1988, under the management Welsmart Corporation . Starting in the 01st Jun 1993, KRTU General has fully taken over the management of KRTU .

KRTU has been developed in cooperation with all government agencies in response to the government's intention of strengthening relations between the armed forces and society and bring quality of life of military members and their families.

Kelab Rekreasi Tentera Udara (KRTU), also known as Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Recreation Club is located within the perimeter of RMAF Subang Air Base. KRTU was the country’s first all-Malaysian golf project.
